METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection will demonstrate a variety of inspection systems for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries at Booth 2361 at Interphex.

The company will showcase the X34C x-ray inspection system for pharmaceutical blister packs and pouches, which features a compact footprint of 28 inches (700 mm) in length for easy line integration. According to the company, the X34C offers accurate performance while running at exceptionally high speeds of up to 400 feet (120 meters) per minute.

Also on display will be the T16 manual multi-aggregation system, part of the company’s line of Integrated Mark & Verify solutions designed to help manufacturers add serialization and aggregation to their production lines for product safety and compliance requirements. Combining a high-resolution camera and advanced software algorithms, the semi-automatic T16 captures and verifies product codes on serialized cartons and aggregates them with a single click.

A Starweigh™ checkweigher will be demonstrated which ensures weight range compliance of small, unstable lightweight products at up to 300ppm with accuracies of up to +/- 5mg.

A CV35 combination checkweigher and vision system will also be demonstrated, which performs two inspections with a single HMI. The single frame enables the system to fit within limited factory floor space. The checkweigher detects over and underfilled products, and the vision system performs side, top, and bottom inspection of packages.

The metal detector on exhibit will be a M31R – the latest metal detector from METTLER TOLEDO which uses advanced SENSE™ software to detect and reject even the smallest of metal contaminants. The system offers a wide array of productivity tools.
