CoreRx Expands Product Development Team

Adds Amber Broadbent, Ph.D. and Scott Bone, M.S. to its team.

CoreRx Inc., a CDMO with formulation development, analytical services and GMP manufacturing sites in Clearwater, Florida and San Rafael, California, has added Amber Broadbent, Ph.D. and Scott Bone, M.S. to CoreRx’s Product Development team. Both individuals will be based at CoreRx’s early product development center in San Rafael, CA.

Broadbent joins CoreRx as senior director of Product Development, and will be responsible for leading the product development team, furthering formulation science and program management. Broadbent brings over 15 years of experience innovating in the drug delivery and CDMO industries (Bend Research, Capsugel, Lonza). Her experience ranges from early-stage feasibility through product commercialization, including drug products requiring spray dried dispersion bioavailability enhancement or particle engineering technologies. Broadbent earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering and her Ph.D. in Engineering at Montana State University.

Bone brings over 13 years of experience in drug product formulation, bioavailability enhancement and the application of modified-release technologies, with particular expertise in the development and commercialization of oral solid dosage forms. Bone earned his M.S. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Oregon. Bone joins CoreRx as director of Formulation Science.
