Delpharm, a CDMO, has inaugurated a new sterile filling line at its Saint-Rémy site to enhance France’s initiatives and strategic investments in its industrial sites.

Delpharm has increased its capacity by acquiring and installing a new, fully Annex 1 compliant, sterile filling line, significantly increasing its production capacity for sterile vials or freeze-drying with an additional capacity of 45 million units in 2 ml format.

This investment including the new building is valued at €37 million including €10.4 million in aid from the French government.

This global investment has facilitated the construction of an additional 1,000m² manufacturing area, which has been designed to accommodate the new production line, with a capacity to fill 2ml to 100ml vials at an impressive hourly rate of 24,000 vials for the 2ml format.
