Mission Pharmacal CDMO, a division of Mission Pharmacal Company, has invested in infrastructure enhancements to expand its manufacturing and operational capabilities. Centrally located on a 40-acre campus in Boerne, Texas, just outside San Antonio, the 275,000+ sq. ft., FDA-registered, cGMP-compliant facility now provides increased production capacity to fulfill the industry’s rising and changing needs.

Mission CDMO offers a range of contract services with formulation and manufacturing expertise in a variety of dosage forms, including oral liquids and topical semi-solids as well as coated and uncoated tablets. The company supports both prescription and over-the-counter product development and commercialization.

To complement Mission’s OSD capabilities, new large-scale equipment for the production of oral solutions and semi-solids has been added to increase annual capacity up to 13 million liters. Upgrades include new mixing rooms and tanks with a range of mixing technologies, integrated heating and cooling systems, a large USP water system, and high-speed filling lines—enhancing efficiency and operational flexibility.

These facility upgrades support streamlined production timelines, with all packaging operations fully DSCSA-compliant with serialization and aggregation systems to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.
