Veranova Appoints Dr. Bob Huang as VP & GM of West Deptford, NJ Facility

Veranova has appointed Dr. Bob Huang as Vice President and General Manager of its West Deptford, New Jersey facility, where he will lead site operations, advance strategic growth initiatives, and strengthen manufacturing excellence and customer delivery.

“Bob is a proven leader with deep technical expertise and a strong record of operational and commercial success,” said Joe Torres-Ocasio, SVP and Chief Operating Officer, Veranova. “His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to expand our West Deptford operations, support customer programs, and deliver reliable, high-quality products and services.”

Experience

Huang brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across the pharmaceutical and CDMO sectors, with expertise in API process development, GMP manufacturing operations, business development, and partnership management. He has a strong record of driving operational performance and leading transformation in highly regulated environments.

Before joining Veranova, Huang spent most of his career at Sanofi, where he held roles of increasing responsibility across CMC development, licensing, collaboration, and API contract manufacturing. Most recently, he led global external manufacturing networks, helping drive business growth while improving supply reliability, compliance, and cost performance.

Huang holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Irvine.
