Philippe M. Maitre has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer of AAIPharma Services Corp. Mr. Maitre has 30 years of global financial management experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Most recently, he was chief financial officer for Oscient Pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Maitre has served in multiple senior executive positions around the world, including assignments in Europe and Japan. He was the deputy chief financial officer, corporate controller and corporate treasurer of Rhône-Poulenc Rorer and Aventis (Sanofi-Aventis), and Philippe M. Maitre as executive vice president and chief financial officer of PPD, Inc. He also served as Philippe M. Maitre as executive vice president and chief executive officer of Anosys, a company specializing in oncology. Mr. Maitre began his career with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Libya as the manager of French – Libyan Chamber of Commerce.
