ABC Laboratories plans to move the operations of its subsidiary, Morse Laboratories of Sacramento, CA, to its recently expanded campus in Columbia, MO. The move is aimed at integrating operations, building capacity and enhancing services. Morse will operate under the ABC trade name.
 
Kevin Clark, longtime technical lead and director at Morse, has been named senior director of operations for the Residue and Analytical Services groups at ABC Laboratories. Mr. Clark has been with Morse for 28 years. The company has also offered the Sacramento employees positions in Columbia.
 
“For many months, we’ve been sharing best practices and working to align processes,” said John Bucksath, ABC president and chief executive officer. “We wanted to be sure we could deliver the same standard of quality, service, and client experience, regardless of where studies are performed. Demand for our services is increasing, and we had to address the Sacramento facilities. We evaluated a number of scenarios, and relocation just made the most sense.”
