The Association of Contract Research Organizations (ACRO) India has appointed Dr. Renu Razdan as vice chairman. Dr. Razdan will work to strengthen the channels of communication between industry, regulators and other stakeholders for drug development in India, and focus on promoting India for drug development research, despite recent challenges.
 
Dr. Razdan is chief operating officer at Max Neeman, an Indian provider of clinical research services to the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industry. Prior to joining the company, she worked at Ranbaxy Laboratories as senior manager of business development and then head of exports. She has also held positions with Transasia Biomedicals and HPCL Systems.
