Neil Larimer has been appointed vice president of business development and manufacturing alliances for Akrimax Pharmaceuticals. He will be responsible for strategic marketing and major contract development for products to be manufactured at the company’s Rouses Point, NY facility.

Mr. Larimer has 20 years of management, sales, marketing and operations experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Most recently, he served as senior director, North America sales and marketing at DPT Laboratories. While at DPT, he successfully led numerous development and manufacturing programs for various pharmaceutical companies. Prior to joining DPT in 2001, Mr. Larimer held senior positions at Owens & Minor, National Labnet and Baxter/VWR Scientific Products.
