Almac has launched its new Almac Pod service solution for temperature controlled shipping. To help address cost, logistical, and compliance challenges posed by biologics and the introduction of strict Good Distribution Practices (GDP), the Almac Pod incorporates Almac’s approved global courier network and advanced phase change technology (PCM) to create a temperature-controlled shipping service solution for its customers global clinical supply.
 
According to the company, the Almac Pod offers a protected, optimized solution designed to safeguard customers’ products and mitigate against temperature excursions of all clinical shipments.
