Applied StemCell, Inc., a CRO and CDMO, has named George Hong chief commercial officer and Timothy Largen, chief operating officer.

Hong brings more than 20 years of experience in academic and industry roles within life sciences, serving as a sales, marketing, and commercial executive with increasing responsibilities. Prior to joining ASC, he worked as chief commercial officer and president at Exellgene, head of North America sales at Advanced Instruments, strategic marketing manager at MilliporeSigma, and director of sales and marketing at Transgenomics.

Largen’s 25-year career spans GMP manufacturing, quality management, process engineering, business operations, and regulatory affairs. Prior to joining Applied StemCell, he held key positions, including vice president of commercial manufacturing at Adrian Biotech, vice president of manufacturing science and technology at RoslinCT, and over eight years in commercial manufacturing and quality positions at Dendreon.
