Luis T. Gutierrez, Jr. has been appointed executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Aptiv Solutions. He will oversee the global business development, proposal development, marketing and brand management functions.
 
Mr. Gutierrez has more than 25 years of industry operational and business development experience. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of pharmaceutical and life sciences operations at MedAssurant. Prior to that, he was with Covance for 19 years, where he assumed commercial leadership positions of progressively greater responsibility. Mr. Gutierrez ultimately served as president, peri-approval and market access services at Covance, and was an integral member of Covance’s Global Leadership Council. Prior to joining Covance, Mr. Gutierrez worked in business development at Merck & Co.
