BASi Appoints CFO and Bioanalytical Ops VP

Jeffrey Potrzebowski has been appointed chief financial officer and James S. Bourdage, Ph.D., was named vice president Bioanalytical Operations at Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. (BASi).
 
Mr. Potrzebowski joins the company from Oerlikon Drive Systems, where he served as chief financial officer, responsible for the management and control of financial performance of the operating segment. Previously, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Remy International, a producer of electrical automotive parts with sales in excess of $1.2 billion.
 
Dr. Bourdage previously served as executive director of Biopharmaceutical CMC Solutions at Covance, responsible for the U.S. CMC operation. Prior to that, he was senior director of Bioanalytical Sciences at Pharmathene, Inc., a biodefense company. Dr. Bourdage was also global research advisor and team leader, Laboratory for Experimental Medicine at Eli Lilly Co., responsible for oversight of biotherapeutic immunogenicity and biomarker assay development to support global trials.
