Robert Davis has been appointed corporate vice president and president of Baxter International’s Medical Products business.

Robert Davis has been appointed corporate vice president and president of Baxter International’s Medical Products business. Mr. Davis previously served as corporate vice president and president of the company’s Renal business, as well as chief financial officer. Mr. Davis joined the company in 2004 from Eli Lilly and Co., where he held a number of financial roles of increasing responsibility.
Additionally, Ludwig Hantson has been appointed corporate vice president and president of Baxter BioScience. Mr. Hantson joined the company in May 2010 as corporate vice president and president of the company’s International business. Prior to joining Baxter, he was chief executive officer, Pharma North America for Novartis, and held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and clinical R&D at Janssen, a unit of Johnson & Johnson.

Parkinson, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of Baxter. “At the same time, we’re very fortunate to have two outstanding leaders in Rob and Ludwig, who will support our efforts to accelerate long-term growth.”
