Paul Biondi has been appointed senior vice president, head of business development at Bristol-Myers Squibb. He reports to Charlie Bancroft, chief financial officer. Mr. Biondi will lead the development of strategic partnerships and pursue scientific innovations across commercial, development, discovery and technology platforms to complement the company’s internal R&D pipeline. Most recently, he served as senior vice president, head of R&D Operations at BMS.

As head of R&D Operations, Mr. Biondi led an organization focused on optimizing delivery of the company’s pipeline, managing the R&D portfolio and project management as well as early- and late-stage clinical operations providing strategic insights and operational excellence across R&D.
