Celerion Names Global Bioanalytical VP

Industry vet Farmen to run bioanalytical ops

Dr. Raymond Farmen has been named vice president of Global Bioanalytical Services at Celerion. Dr. Farmen will have responsibility for the company’s bioanalytical operations in Zurich, Switzerland and Lincoln, NE.

Dr. Farmen comes to Celerion with more than 30 years of experience in the CRO and pharma industries. Prior to joining Celerion, he held executive positions at PharmOptima, Eurofins AvTech Laboratories, and Camargo Pharmaceutical Services. Dr. Farmen also held leadership positions in the bioanalytical sciences at MDS Pharma Services and Phoenix International Life Sciences.

Dr. Farmen has in-depth knowledge of both large and small molecule bioanalysis, DMPK, regulatory strategies, and GLP/GMP regulations, according to a Celerion statement, and played a pivotal role at the Crystal City, MD meetings which helped to shape the early regulatory landscape and guidelines for bioanalysis of pharmaceutical products.
