Sharon Klugewicz has been appointed chief operating officer at Chembio Diagnostics, Inc. In this newly created position, Ms. Klugewicz is responsible for all operational activities, working closely with R&D, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and sales and marketing. Ms. Klugewicz joined the company in 2012 as vice president of Quality Assurance/Quality Control, and technical operations.
 
Prior to joining the company, Ms. Klugewicz served as vice president, Scientific & Laboratory Services (SLS) at Pall Corp., where she was responsible for lab operations and scientific staff management globally. Ms. Klugewicz also held a number of positions in the Pall Life Sciences Division, in marketing, product management, and field technical services, including senior vice president of Global Quality Operations.
