CS Analytical Launches Gas Testing Analytical

New joint venture will exclusively provide USP and EP-specific monograph testing for all frequently used gases in the drug and medical device development and manufacturing process.

CS Analytical Laboratory, a cGMP, FDA-registered and inspected contract laboratory designed to serve the regulated testing needs of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries, has established a new Joint Venture Company: Gas Testing Analytical (GTA).

In partnership and under the direction of Chad Felter, a 15-year veteran in gas sampling, utility validation, and regulated lab operations, GTA will exclusively provide USP and EP-specific monograph testing for all frequently used gases in the drug and medical device development and manufacturing process.

“In industries where product quality and patient safety depend on unseen infrastructure, Gas Testing Analytical will deliver specialized testing, sampling, and validation services for gases and utilities used in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device manufacturing. These utilities are key raw materials and GTA was built around that truth,” said Managing Partner Charles Felter. “Whether you are testing compressed air for particulates or validating nitrogen lines across a cleanroom build, GTA will ensure your utilities support—not threaten—your compliance and product quality.”

“While many labs offer testing, few specialize in gas and utility quality. Gas Testing Analytical was designed from the ground up for this niche, drawing on real-world experience across manufacturing launches, contamination investigations, and remediation programs,” added Brandon Zurawlow, Chief Operating Officer for CS Analytical.

Based in a dedicated cGMP and FDA-regulated and inspected laboratory space under the direction of the CS Analytical Executive Management Team, GTA will utilize all the current CS Analytical systems to include the fully Part 11 compliant quality platform.

Gas Testing Analytical offers full-scope services that are tailored to the needs of regulated environments:

  • Routine Analysis – Standard and monograph-based testing for oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, compressed air, and more.
  • On-Site Sampling – Expert field sampling at critical points of use, performed by trained technicians.
  • Self-Service Kits – Clean cylinders and SOP-guided training enable clients to collect their own samples on schedule.
  • System Validation – Long-term qualification studies designed to prove system reliability across time, environmental changes, and usage conditions.

Gas Testing Analytical is now accepting new clients across the U.S. and offers remote consultation, in-field service, and self-service shipping programs.
