Don Wuchterl has been appointed senior vice president of manufacturing operations at Cytovance Biologics.
 
Mr. Wuchterl has experience with clinical and commercial GMP manufacturing of biologics, small molecule and peptides, with expertise in the design, validation, start-up, licensure and operation of biologics facilities. Previously, he was director of manufacturing at Dendreon’s Immunotherapy Manufacturing facility in Union City, GA, where he was integral in the construction, start-up, and licensure of the facility for their flagship product Provenge. Prior to Dendreon, Mr. Wuchterl was director of manufacturing at Shire, Human Genetic Therapies, where he was responsible for the end-user design and start-up of the Lexington, MA Mammalian Cell Culture facility.
