Delpharm has inaugurated a new sterile filling line at its Saint-Rémy site to commit to French healthcare sovereignty.

The CDMO has increased its capacity by acquiring and installing a new, fully Annex 1 compliant, sterile filling line. As a result, Delpharm Saint-Rémy is significantly increasing its production capacity for sterile vials or freeze-drying with an additional capacity of 45 million units in 2 ml format.

This investment, including a new building, is valued at €37 million, including €10.4 million in aid from the French government.

This global investment has facilitated the construction of an additional 1,000m² manufacturing area, which has been designed for the new production line, with a capacity to fill 2ml to 100ml vials at an impressive hourly rate of 24,000 vials for the 2ml format.
