1Q Earnings: $66,000 (earnings were $1.9 million in 1Q09)
Comments: Total contract revenue for the quarter was $38.9 million (-10%). Discovery Services revenue was $12.3 million (+ 7%). Development and Small Scale Manufacturing revenues were $8.7 million (-21%). Large Scale Manufacturing revenues were down 14% to $17.9 million. Royalties in the quarter were $10.4 million (-3%). Results in the quarter were impacted by $0.9 million in costs related to the acquisition of Excelsyn, Ltd.
