Kennet Brysting has been appointed general manager of Gilead Sciences Canada, Inc., assuming leadership of the company’s sixth-largest market. Mr. Brysting has also joined Gilead’s North America commercial senior leadership team.

Jim Meyers, executive vice president, Worldwide Commercial Operations, said, “Our top objective in the search process was to find the very best person to lead Gilead Canada at this time. That’s not just in terms of leading Gilead Canada day to day, but to enable it to thrive and grow in the years ahead,”

Mr. Brysting has nearly 20 years of industry experience, including prior pharmaceutical industry general manager experience, and more than four years as the general manager for Gilead Nordics, which he grew to be one of Gilead’s top 10 markets.
