Sameer Trikha has been appointed president of GlobePharma, Inc. Mr. Trikha succeeds Dr. Sanni Raju, who has stepped down as company president after 22 years. As founder, Dr. Raju will continue to have an active role in the transition and retains ownership of the company.

Mr. Trikha will focus on maintaining close customer relationships and open communication with potential customers to drive innovation in GlobePharma’s core machine portfolio. He also plans to expand the company’s equipment portfolio to better serve customers and achieve a leadership position in pharmaceutical equipment manufacturing for pharmaceutical, food, nutraceutical, automotive, and cosmetic applications.
 
Most recently, Mr. Trikha served as the OEM sales director for WIKA Instruments, LP, a German instrumentation manufacturer with U.S. headquarters in Lawrenceville, GA. He began his industrial sales career as a field sales engineer at Sensata Technologies, and then went on to work in sales and business development roles at Danaher Corp., where he worked as a product specialist and regional sales manager and product manager.
