Harbour BioMed Adds Luisa Salter-Cid as Scientific Advisor

Harbour BioMed is appointing Luisa Salter-Cid, PhD, to the post of Scientific Advisor. The company specializes in discovery and development of novel antibody therapeutics in immunology and oncology, among other disease areas.

Importantly, Harbour’s proprietary antibody technology platform, Harbour Mice, can generate fully human monoclonal antibodies in numerous formats. Building upon this platform, Harbour BioMed recently launched its first fully human generative AI model.

Scientific Advisor’s Qualifications

Salter-Cid is currently Venture Partner at Osage University Partners. Previously, she was Chief Scientific Officer of Pioneering Medicines at Flagship Pioneering. Prior to that, Salter-Cid was Chief Scientific Officer at Gossamer Bio.

Earlier in her career, Salter-Cid spent 13 years at Bristol Myers Squibb. Her last post there was Vice President and Head of Immunology, Small Molecule Immuno-Oncology, and Genomics Discovery.

All told, Salter-Cid has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. At BMS, she led teams that successfully advanced more than 20 compounds into clinical development. She has authored a combined total of over 90 publications and patents.
