Contract performance co. makes top appointments

Gonzalo Castro will assume the role of vice president of Product Management at iMANY, a provider of contract performance services. Chip Alexander was named chief architect of User Interface and Experience, and Jin Huang was appointed vice president of Development at the company. All three executives will report to chief development officer Lawrence Lindsey.
Mr. Castro will direct product management and ensure alignment of iMANY’s ContractSphere platform with customer needs and industry demands. He joins iMANY from DecisionView, where he was vice president of Product Marketing, responsible for product management, product marketing and product strategy. Prior to DecisionView, he was director of Life Sciences Product Strategy at Oracle Corporation.
Mr. Alexander will be responsible for user-centered design best practices, methodologies and standards. He will collaborate closely with the development and go-to-market teams to lead user experience activities across the software development lifecycle, including funded development initiatives. Mr. Alexander was formerly a User Interface Architect at both Oracle and Sun Microsystems.
Jin Huang, previously iMANY’s senior director of Engineering and Program Management for the past three years, will be responsible for architecture, engineering and quality assurance of the company’s family of products. He brings 16 years of engineering experience in the enterprise software application space. Prior to joining iMANY, Huang worked for Business Objects/Nsite Software where he served as director of engineering for the Nsite On Demand Application Platform.
