Impact Analytical has begun operations at its new 17,000-sq.-ft. facility in Midland, MI. The lab employs more than 35 scientists who can operate more than 80 instruments for elemental analysis, gas separation, liquid separation, microscopy, molecular characterization, thermal and mechanical properties.
 
“This facility is truly state-of-the-art for laboratory testing and expands our capacity by more than 20%,” said Impact Analytical business manager Eric Hill. “It was designed to maximize efficiency, safety and standardization, so we are able to better serve our customer’s needs. The laboratory spaces were designed specifically to match our work process.
 
“With our scientists and these facilities, Impact Analytical is easily in the top tier of analytical labs,” Mr. Hill added. “Demand for our services has been rising every year, so we have been hiring additional staff and shortening turnaround times. Our new facility enables us to continue to improve our services to our clients.”
