Jost Chemical announced an enhanced supply of sodium caprate (C10) and sodium caprylate (C8). “Bioavailability and efficacy of API’s are key factors for products in the marketplace,” said Joe Hardimon, global research director for Jost Chemical. “We see continued growth in permeation enhancement and are ready for increased demand.” Jost Chemical offers two permeation enhancement compounds, Sodium Caprate and Sodium Caprylate for tablet, capsule, and pre-mix preparations. Both products are Halal and Kosher certified. “Although we’ve seen these permeation enhancement compounds primarily used in the pharmaceutical industry, we’ve recently noticed further exploration of permeation enhancement in the nutritional and cosmetic industries,” added Hardimon.
