CSafe Global, a provider of temperature-controlled container solutions, will begin providing their passive Parcel shipping containers to Kimera Labs allowing the company to ship their products anywhere in the world to further ongoing medical research. CSafe has been able to provide a solution that will protect Kimera Labs’ products during longer transports and allows them to ship products five days a week instead of four.   

Kimera Labs specializes in the production of mesenchymal stem cell-derived (MSC) exosome products for scientific and clinical research. Until recently, the company was able to use short-duration temperature-controlled shippers because product destinations were rather close and overnight shipping was feasible.

“In the past several months, we’ve received orders for our products from locations where overnight delivery is simply not an option,” noted Duncan Ross, Ph.D., Founder and CEO of Kimera Labs. “The containers we had on hand were not able to maintain the needed temperature long enough to ensure product integrity upon delivery. We had to find a solution that would meet our standards for quality and accommodate long-term growth.”

CSafe’s Parcel portfolio offers an optimized design for pack-out simplicity, 50% longer shipment duration confirmed in a third-party testing facility, and hibernation capabilities to mitigate unforeseen supply chain risks.
