Körber has signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Tonghua Anrate Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Anrate), a biopharmaceutical company headquartered in China.

According to the agreement, Körber will provide Anrate with a series of smart manufacturing and digital transformation solutions, including but not limited to fully automated pharmaceutical machines, production software, digital solutions, comprehensive training as well as technical support services. These solutions will further enhance Anrate’s Factory of Excellence level in regards to management operations.

By introducing Werum PAS-X MES and Werum PAS-X Savvy, Anrate is expected to build a smart factory that balances compliance and efficiency, achieving interconnection of software and hardware data in all stages of pharmaceutical production, accelerating the company’s digital process, thereby promoting high-quality sustainable development in the industry.

Wei Xiang, Managing Director of Anrate, and Jerry Zheng, Managing Director China of Körber Business Area, among others, attended the signing ceremony.

The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement will enable Anrate to leverage Körber’s continuous technological innovation and solutions in the pharmaceutical industry to further enhance the company’s smart factory level and manufacturing efficiency.
