Frances Zipp, president and CEO of Lachman Consultant Services, Inc., a leading provider of compliance, regulatory affairs and technical services to global life sciences organizations, announced today that Keith Lamb, Ph.D., joined the firm as Executive Director in Biologics, effective March 7, 2022. In this role, Dr. Lamb will apply his technical skills and experience to help Lachman Consultants’ biologics clients achieve their compliance and licensure goals.

Dr. Lamb brings more than 30 years of pharmaceutical experience in the U.S. and the U.K., with advanced expertise in biopharmaceuticals, small molecules, and cell and gene therapy. As a Quality and Chemistry Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) expert with a deep knowledge base in the design, implementation and operation of Pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems for current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and product quality, Dr. Lamb has a passion for innovation and the delivery of novel medicines to patients. He also has an extensive background in strategic workforce planning, CMO and supplier relationship management, quality audits and due diligence, risk management and data integrity.

Before joining Lachman Consultants, Dr. Lamb enjoyed a 30-year tenure with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), where he served in a range of capacities, culminating in his most recent role as vice president of product quality for pharma R&D, pharmaceutical supply chain. He earned his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Nottingham, UK, and his B.Sc. honors in microbiology from the University of Surrey, UK, where he majored in biotechnology.
