Lyophilization Services of New England (LSNE) has announced that Jay Bonewit has been named senior director of Quality and Chad Bovero has been named director of Operations.
In his new role, Mr. Bonewit will have direct oversight of the Quality operations at LSNE’s three New Hampshire based manufacturing sites. Jay will report to Thomas McGrath, vice president of Quality and Regulatory.
“We are delighted to welcome Jay to LSNE. His strong background and experience will be instrumental to aiding our growth as an organization. I have incredible confidence in his ability to maintain and build upon LSNE’s strong compliance history with all regulatory bodies.” said Tom McGrath.
“I am very excited to be in my new role at LSNE. I look forward to learning more about the products and processes at LSNE and hope I can share some of the knowledge I have gained from working in my previous roles in the CDMO industry, over the past years.” said Mr. Bonewit. Jay was most recently with Catalent Pharma Solutions in Florida. Jay has over twenty years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing as well as quality, validation, technical services, and process development.
Chad Bovero was brought on to add to LSNE’s growing Operations team located in New Hampshire and will be responsible for the oversight of commercial and clinical fill/finish and lyophilization activities. Chad will report directly to Aimee Hodge, vice president of Operations. “We are pleased to have someone of Chad’s caliber join LSNE. With this outstanding addition, our highly dedicated and experienced team will be well-suited to provide quality service to our clients.” said Ms. Hodge.
“I am very excited to be in my new role of Director of Operations at LSNE. I look forward to growing with a great company that provides services that contribute to the improvement of health conditions all over the world.” said Mr. Bovero. Chad was previously employed by Xellia Pharmaceuticals in Ohio as Filling and Lyophilization Manager. Prior to Xellia, he was with Pfizer nearly 14 years progressing from Maintenance supervisor to Manufacturing Manager. He has had responsibilities in all facets of aseptic manufacturing from engineering/validation, maintenance through aseptic filling and lyophilization.
