MEGGLE Group Wasserburg has been granted EXCiPACT certification by auditors from the certifying body SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance, Hamburg, Germany). The certificate deems that the MEGGLE Business Group Excipients & Technology complies with quality standards of Good Manufacturing & Good Distribution Practices (GMP & GDP) for its pharmaceutical excipients.
 
The audit inspected manufacturing processes, quality systems, quality management, storage and distribution of pharmaceutical grade lactose, and its associated auxiliary materials used in the production process.
 
The EXCiPACT certificate, introduced in 2013, is granted to companies meeting high standards according to the international industrial GMP/GDPs according IPEC-PQG) standard and ISO norms. The quality standards as defined in EXCiPACT are specifically for manufacturing and supply of pharmaceutical excipients.
