The Product Inspection Group of METTLER TOLEDO, a manufacturer of product inspection systems for the food and pharmaceutical industries, is hosting a Grand Opening event for their customers on July 12 – 13, 2018. The 265,000 square feet of office and manufacturing space houses three business units – Safeline metal detection and x-ray inspection, Hi-Speed checkweighing, and CI-Vision machine vision and PCE Track&Trace/Serialization units.

Attendees will hear from speakers on key industry topics ranging from: Internet of things, factors affecting packaging trends, OEE, TCO, data integrity/audit trail, equipment safety, hygienic design, and choosing the right inspection system.

They will also have the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations with equipment of all five technologies, as well as tour the facility. On Thursday following optional excursions, attendees can visit the Product Fair during a reception, where equipment from other METTLER TOLEDO divisions will be on display with experts to demonstrate systems from Lab, Industrial, Process Analytics, Rainin, and Retail.

The new facility expands METTLER TOLEDO’s capabilities with a much larger production area, training and test labs, as well as multiple FAT rooms.
