NextPharma Technologies Holding Ltd., has launched its expanded production area and ‘stick pack’ packaging capabilities at its Bielefeld facility. The renovation has doubled the space to 3,400m2. The investment is part of the company’s five-year growth plan that includes new rooms, air conditioning and new technical infrastructure at the Bielefeld plant.
 
“NextPharma is reinforcing its position as a strategic partner for the development and commercial manufacturing of non-sterile drugs. The first three stick pack packaging lines are already operational within the expanded facility and utilization is set to be at 50% by the end of the year,” said Andrew Kelly, chief operating officer, NextPharma. “The dedication and enthusiasm of the Bielefeld team in preparing these capabilities for our customers has been exceptional.”
