Novasep has opened a new 2,000-m² facility in Shanghai Pudong district, China, expanding process development and engineering capabilities in the region. Novasep has 12 other global synthesis and process sites in France, U.S., Germany, Belgium and The Bahamas.
 
The newly expanded facility includes 800-m² dedicated to innovation and process development with a new lab, pilot and FAT testing areas. Novasep will expand purification process solutions for biopharmaceuticals including recombinant proteins, peptides and biosimilars, including monoclonal antibodies and insulin, and pharmaceuticals such as optical isomers and certain anti-cancer APIs.
