Dr. Alan Copa has been appointed vice president of Novum Pharmaceutical Research Services. Novum currently has clinical operations in Pittsburgh, PA, Houston, TX, and Las Vegas, NV, and has plans to expand the business.
 
Prior to joining the company, Dr. Copa was chief scientific officer of PRACS Institute. In his 20 years at the company, Dr. Copa served in numerous clinical and operational lead roles, and was principal investigator of projects spanning early phase, dermatology, pharmacokinetic and other study disciplines. Dr. Copa is a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and the American Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
