Peter T. Bigelow has been appointed president, North American Operations, Patheon. Mr. Bigelow will assume responsibility for all of Patheon’s commercial operating units in North America, including its Whitby, Mississauga and Burlington facilities in Canada, the Cincinnati facility and Caguas and Manati facilities in Puerto Rico.

Mr. Bigelow most recently served as senior vice president at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, where he was responsible for the global consumer healthcare product manufacturing with oversight of the company’s operations in Latin America. He joined Wyeth in 1995 and served in several executive positions in pharmaceutical manufacturing and technical operations. Prior to joining Wyeth, he spent 13 years with Smithkline Beecham in a variety of engineering and operations roles.
