Geoff Glass has been appointed president of Patheon’s new Proprietary Products business unit following the Banner Pharmacaps acquisition. Mr. Glass, previously executive vice president of Global Sales and Marketing, has been with the company for four years, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives worldwide. He has more than 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

In this newly created role, Mr. Glass he will be primarily responsible for the strategy of the new division, including Rx and commercial products. He will be responsible for the profitability of the business, along with managing all business operations, including R&D and sales and marketing. He will also develop the “how to go to market” strategy, helping to enhance and advance the current business.
