Abzena, a Partner Research Organization (PRO) for biopharmaceutical outsourced solutions from concept to clinic and into GMP manufacturing, has appointed Patrice Dudley Aviles as the chief human resource officer.
 
With over 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Aviles has previously held roles with progressively increasing scope and responsibility at Pfizer, Amgen, Alexion, and Genentech. At her previous company, Genentech, she was the Global Human Resources Business and North America Human Resources leader to Pharma Technical Operations. 
 
Aviles brings with her extensive experience in leading transformational change, shaping culture, organizational development, and establishing new locations. She has developed strategic initiatives to improve and enhance leadership team effectiveness and developing talent.
 
Aviles received her Bachelor of Science Degree in industrial and labor relations at Cornell University, New York. Additionally, she is a co-founder of Aspiring Women Now, LLC. which is dedicated to creating community to support and advance the aspirations of girls and women of color.
