PPD has expanded its GMP operations in Athlone, Ireland with a new lab that provides bioassay testing with dedicated areas to support cell culture activities with multiple assay endpoint expertise. This expanded capability in Athlone enhances the company’s services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region.
 
The facility also provides services for product development and analytical development, as well as regulatory services. PPD’s Athlone campus also includes a dedicated global clinical supplies facility that offers packaging, labeling and storage to support clinical trials.
