Purdue Pharma Canada Names Corporate Affairs VP

Perry responsible for patient access strategies

Grant Perry has been appointed vice president, Government and Corporate Affairs, Purdue Pharma Canada. Mr. Perry will also be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies providing patient access to Purdue’s current and future marketed products. Mr. Perry reports to Dr. Craig Landau, president and chief executive officer, and will serve on the executive leadership team.
 
Mr. Perry joins the company from GlaxoSmithKline, where he spent the last 15 years, most recently as vice president, Public Affairs and Reimbursement. He previously held leadership roles within the primary care pharmaceutical and vaccine businesses. Mr. Perry also held roles with Industry Canada and the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Canada. 
 
Dr. Landau, said, “Grant’s impressive work in policy, patient advocacy and market access at both the federal and provincial levels has earned him the reputation of being among the top in his field. His many years of experience and proven record of accomplishment will help Purdue pursue new growth opportunities, while solidifying its position as the leading innovative analgesic pharmaceutical company in Canada.”
