Q Laboratories has named Jeff Rowe president and chief executive officer. Company owner David Goins, who had served as president and chief executive Q Laboratories since 2000, will transition to chief operations officer, overseeing the daily operations of the corporations’ laboratory divisions. Mr. Rowe previously served as president and chief executive officer of Hydro Systems, a subsidiary of Fortune 500 Dover Corporation. He was credited with leading the effort that saw Hydro Systems increase sales and earnings by more than 500% during his 17 years at the helm. Since retiring from Hydro Systems in 2015, Mr. Rowe helped found, and served as a partner in, Nunan Vogel Rowe (NVR), a career coaching and business consulting firm.

“Jeff is an experienced and proven executive who will be an invaluable asset as we continue to grow the business,” said Mr. Goins. “This move will allow me to provide more hands on management of our laboratories and get back to the science, since I’m a chemist by trade, and let Jeff manage the business aspect of the company.”
