Desmond Cave has been named business development director in Europe for Ricerca Biosciences. Mr. Cave will be based in the UK and will focus on selling Ricerca’s discovery and preclinical services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, along with its environmental and industrial toxicology services. He will be responsible for developing contacts and building relationships with prospective and current clients, as well as implementing strategies that will generate revenue growth.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Cave was responsible for managing a business development team for a CRO, requiring coordination for activities in Europe, India, and Australia. He has more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical research industry primarily focused on preclinical and toxicology. Mr. Cave also has expertise in developing proposals and streamlining processes for clients.
