SGS Life Sciences has launched a fully digitalized global network initiative, OneVision. The initiative interconnects systems and laboratories to create a modern, forward-looking business structure by making customers a part of a single, digitalized, global laboratory network. OneVision is being rolled out across the whole network with immediate effect and is expected to be completed by mid-2020.
 
OneVision will introduce a range of high-tech solutions to its global network of laboratories, including Sparta- Trackwise Digitial (TWD), IDBS – eWorkbook, and Labvantage ELN / LE. Digitalization aims to reduce replication and increase efficiency by creating a more streamlined data inputting process that eliminates unnecessary paperwork. The removal of localized operating procedures aims to make it easier for affiliates to access support from global industry experts, allowing them to add value to their services.
 
The company’s new initiative aims to allow Life Sciences to be closer aligned to other market leaders, ensuring the delivery of first-class services to customers around the world. In turn the company aims to improve turnaround times and deliver better customer service.
