Sharp Services Taps Samantha Wilson Jones as General Counsel & Corporate Secretary 

Sharp Services has appointed Samantha Wilson Jones as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Sharp.

In her role as General Counsel, Jones will join Sharp’s Senior Leadership Team and report directly to Kevin Orfan, CEO & President.  She takes responsibility for Sharp’s legal function globally, including corporate compliance, risk management and EHS.  She will advise Sharp’s SLT and the Board of Directors on legal, regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance matters. 

Experience 

Jones brings to Sharp almost thirty years of knowledge and experience in legal, corporate and commercial affairs specifically in the life sciences industry, having held senior leadership positions at GSK, Incyte Corporation and, most recently, Spark Therapeutics where she served as Chief of Staff and Chief Legal Officer. 

Jones, who will be based at Sharp’s headquarters in Allentown PA, holds a BSc in International Studies and Political Science from Drexel University, a Juris Doctor (JD) and an LLM in Health Law both from Widner University School of Law and an Executive MBA from Drexel University LeBow College of Business.
