Sinclair Research has hired G. Alex Wakefield, DVM, as vice president of research and operations. In this newly created role, Wakefield will have overall responsibility for the company’s research services and its operational processes. 

Wakefield joins Sinclair Research from Covance in Greenfield, Ind., where he served in multiple areas including discovery science and toxicology, and has held similar positions at Eli Lilly and Company. With more than 25 years of industry experience, Wakefield is an accomplished pharmaceutical development professional with extensive expertise in the science and management of drug development.
