Single Use Support Appoints Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer

Single Use Support, a provider of advanced fluid management and cold chain solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry, has appointed Ania W. Payne, PhD, as Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer (CSMO).

In her new role, Payne will be responsible for developing a global growth strategy in collaboration with the whole executive team, including portfolio and go-to-market strategies, supported by an operational scaling plan for Single Use Support’s platform systems and consumables portfolio. She will create a strategy organization as well as a fully-integrated marketing organization.

Payne started her career in management consulting at McKinsey in Boston, working on strategy topics for pharma and life science companies. She then spent almost seven years at the Life Science business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, leading marketing, strategy, and R&D functions for the global Contract Testing Services business under the BioReliance brand. Beyond her experience in Life Science tools, Payne also spent the past year driving Life Science ecosystem development, supporting company formation and strategy development for early-stage biotechnology companies.

The addition of Payne to Single Use Support’s top management follows the appointment of Darren Verlenden as CEO in late 2024.
