Steve Rau has been promoted to vice president, technical operations, Tapemark. He has served as director of engineering since 2006, taking on additional responsibilities for managing Tapemark operations in July 2009. In his new role, he is responsible for engineering and operations functions for the company, and reports directly to Andy Rensink, president and chief operating officer of Tapemark.

Mr. Rau commented, “There is a natural synergy between engineering, facilities maintenance and operations. Together, my group will strive toward a common goal of ‘safety, quality, production’ – safety is most important, then making a quality product, followed by meeting production needs. It’s also important to me to have fun at work, and part of my role is to make sure Tapemark is a great place to work for all of our employees.”
