Thermo Fisher has launched the Thermo Scientific 1500 Series Class II, Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinet (BSC), a solution designed to provide protection, user comfort through ergonomic design, and operational convenience to meet the needs of everyday laboratories from academic to pharmaceutical and biotechnological segments.

The new 1500 Series A2 BSC was designed with advanced protection and optimal performance at the forefront. It offers more precise airflow control than its predecessor with a dual blower system that delivers real-time continuous compensation of inflow and downflow.  It also monitors and alerts users of out-of-tolerance airflows that could compromise protection for the operator and the sample. 

In addition to improved safety, the 1500 Series A2 BSC features a large touchscreen display for easy operation and an advanced front window design which provides better access for cleaning the cabinet. Users can feel comfortable and achieve efficient and reliable performance in critical lab environments.
