Mark Stier has been appointed chief operations officer at Whitehouse Analytical Laboratories. Mr. Stier replaces Brian Mulhall, who will take a leadership role in the companies Container Testing Service area.
 
Mr. Stier has 25 years of pharmaceutical executive management experience and will be charged with improving the company’s operational platform as well as the establishment of a more defined sales and marketing initiative. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Stier served as chief financial officer of Halo Pharmaceuticals. He also served as president of Alpharma’s Generic Division and was part of the leadership team at Reliant Pharmaceuticals.
 
As part of his appointment, the company has reorganized into four key service areas: package testing, container testing, raw material testing, and key clients/special projects.
